Why it matters
This section defines the institutional purpose behind “Infrastructure, not endorsement”. EMJ.LIFE does not issue sustainability standards, provide external assurance, certify performance, determine compliance, assign ratings or speak on behalf of any standard-setting institution. References and mappings are governed through licensing, attribution, notification, boundary disclosure and controlled publication procedures.
How it works
The architecture assigns distinct responsibilities to event formation, evidence governance, publication, disclosure and assurance, with traceable hand-offs between each layer.
Governance boundary
The description establishes an infrastructure and governance function only. It does not constitute endorsement, certification, external assurance, financial advice or delegated standard-setting authority. Any mapping remains subject to its stated licence, attribution, notification and publication boundary.
